Once the system engineers are satisfied with the stability and security posture of the server the machine moves to the verification and validation process where additional engineers run the server non stop for a minimum of fourteen (14) days. During this time, the server is subjected to both transient and sustained high system loads and is thoroughly inspected and documented for stability, performance and overall usability.
The information security team next reviews the server, ensuring the system has all applicable security patches installed and is operating according to design. A
Nessus scan against the server is performed and the results are reviewed with the verification and validation engineers. Any security vulnerabilities that are found to exist will be corrected and the system will re-enter the verification and validation process.
Only when the verification and validation engineers and information security team are satisfied with the results is the server deployed. Both teams continue to monitor the server throughout its lifecycle and are responsible for testing and applying new system and security patches as they become available.
Attention to detail is what our customers expect and SecurityMinded delivers.
